Sponsored Swimming Challenge
This year's
sponsored swim reached the incredible distance of 64.8 km during the
two hour session. There were some fantastic distances swum by
all involved from the small Tadpoles to Top Squad. It was also great
to see parents in the pool doing laps!!!
These small
fundraising events are an important part of enabling us to support
the swimmers in achieving their full potential. This has been
another great year for the club overall with medals and trophies
being won by all levels of the club, and I'd like to say thanks to
all those involved in the sponsored swim.
On a more practical
point, could money that has been collected by each swimmer be placed
in an envelope marked for the attention of Graeme Gordon and handed
in to the swimmer's coach.

More Fundraising for YOUR
Club!!
As part of our
ongoing fund raising efforts the swim club has now moved into the
internet age. If you are a user of internet shopping you can
now raise money for the club but shopping via the internet portal www.buy.at/udasc
which has links to over 100 different retailers from M&S to John
Lewis through to Tesco and Asda plus lots more.
The club receives
money from the shopping link provider who is paid by the retailers
for promoting their products. This doesn't affect the price
you are charged or your normal buyer's rights.
This is a great way
for you to support the club while going about your normal
business. So the simple request is that when you next shop on
the internet please check the link www.buy.at/udasc to
find out if the retailer/product exists there - then simply place
your order.
